That wasn’t all that happened on June 11, though. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli decided to rest on the eve of the India vs USA match to decide their failures against Pakistan, and the whole nation was sad as the Indian football team suffered a major heartbreak because of an error made by the referee in the India vs Qatar match

IND vs PAK match leads to a vlogger’s death

Who could have thought that a match that gives many around the world immense joy could lead to a person’s death? A Pakistani YouTuber has been shot dead by a guard who was irritated by the vlogger’s constant questions about the high-octane. The accident occurred in Lahore before the match was played. 

India’s FIFA World Cup dream crushed

History was mere minutes away for the Indian Football Team. Leading Qatar 1-0 with around 15 minutes left in Doha, the Blue Tigers were about to reach Round 3 of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers for the first time. But then, a controversial goal changed everything. That lead soon became a trial (1-2), and the dream of 1.4 billion was crushed because of a blunder from the referee.

No practice for Rohit Sharma & Virat Kohli

A day before the India vs USA match, stalwarts Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli decided to skip the optional practice. Not only Kohli or Rohit, but most players decided to relax their bodies instead of toiling hard. Suryakumar Yadav, who hasn’t been in form, also chose to stay away from the nets while Men in Blue’s pace quartet rested after an incredible show against Pakistan.

Pakistan stays alive in T20 World Cup

After two back-to-back defeats, Pakistan has returned to winning ways. With their backs against the wall, Babar Azam and co. performed at their absolute best. They still remain in the race for the Super 8, with a 7-wicket victory over Canada, but nothing is certain as far as their qualification goes with India and USA favorites to make it to the next stage.

Team India unhappy fitness facilities

The best players that belong to the richest cricket board aren’t happy with the facilities provided to them in New York by the ICC. Rahul Dravid had previously criticized practice facilities, and now news is coming out that Indian players aren’t using the gym assigned to them and instead are going to a gym chain that is close to their hotel.

Blame game in Pakistan dressing room

Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi may not have a tiff between them, but it seems like Iftikhar Ahmed and Imad Wasim certainly do. In a recent development, Iftikhar was caught liking posts mocking Imad for his poor batting against India on June 9 in an attempt to divert criticism away from him.
