Shubman Gill blames himself for India’s loss

India’s new captain Shubman Gill started his tenure with a loss to Zimbabwe in the 1st T20I. Despite being the highest scorer, Gill blamed himself and poor fielding for the defeat. He said India bowled well but dropped catches and misfielded. Gill also regretted his dismissal, believing he should have stayed longer to guide India to victory. He castled by opposition skipper Raza at a crucial juncture.

England beat Switzerland in penalties, Netherlands sink Turkey

England secured their spot in the semi finals of Euro Cup after a heard fought victory against the Swiss. Bukayo Saka scored the equaliser which took England to the penalties. The Three Lions scored all their penalties to beat the Swiss. In the other hand, Netherlands staged a massive comeback in 6 minutes to come from behind to beat Turkey and seal their spot in the semi finals.
