DRS, July 10: Gautam Gambhir new Team India head coach, Spain knock out France in Euro Cup

Fnally, the India Cricket Team have got their new head coach. Gautam Gambhir is set to take the reins as he replaces the Rahul Dravid. On the other hand, India women team crushed Proteas women by 10 wickets seal the 3-match series to a 1-1 tie. And in UEFA Euro 2024, Spain has secured their spot in the finals by beating France 2-1. Young Spanish forward Lamine Yamal make it to the history books by becoming youngest ever scorer in Euro.

Gautam Gambhir – India’s new Head Coach!

After much speculation, finally the BCCI has announced Gautam Gambhir as the new head coach of the Indian Cricket Team. The former KKR and LSG mentor has been given a three year contract till 2027 to lead the reins for the Men in Blue. Gambhir is expected to take charge of Team India starting with the India vs Sri Lanka series.

India Women Thrash South Africa to tie series!

A win was needed for the Women in Blue to tie the 3 match T20I series. And the Indian women did that. Smriti Mandhan smashed a stunning fifty while Pooja Vastrakar scalped a four-fer. And courtesy of these heroics, the India Women’s Team scripted a 10 wicket win to seal the series 1-1 against the Proteas women.

Spain secure Euro Finals spot by knocking out France!

The Spanish Football Team are back on the top. La Roja scripted a sensational 2-1 comeback to knock out title favourites France from UEFA Euro 2024. Kolo Muani gave France a well deserved lead early in the game. But two goals in four minutes from Lamine Yamal and Dani Olmo saw the mighty Spain secure a spot in the finals of the Euro Cup.

Spain’s youngest forward Lamine Yamal is destined for greatness. The 16 year old forward scored a sensational goal to help Spain equalise after France’s early goal. And with that goal, the Barcelona left winger has sealed his name in the history books. The youngster has become the youngest ever scorer in European Competitions.

India’s emphatic T20 World Cup win is still fresh in the minds of every Indians. And a vital cog for India’s success in Barbados was ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah.
