Fantastic news for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) fans! Their captain, Pat Cummins, is on track to play in the IPL 2025 season opener after recovering from an ankle injury. Cummins had missed the Australia tour of Sri Lanka and the ICC Champions Trophy, but has been undergoing rehab and is confident of being fit for the IPL. He’s yet to start bowling, but with a few weeks to go before the season starts, he’s hopeful of being back to his best.

What an incredible feat by Ibrahim Zadran! The Afghan opener has shattered records, scoring a stunning 177 runs against England in the ICC Champions Trophy. This knocks breaks his own record for the highest individual score for Afghanistan and also surpasses Ben Duckett’s recent record in the tournament. Zadran’s innings was a masterclass, rescuing his team from 37/3 and guiding them to their highest ICC score. He had scored Afghanistan’s first ICC century in the ODI World Cup 2023. Yograj Singh to coach Pakistan?
