Welcome to our special segment, DRS or the Daily Review System. In this, InsideSport will provide you with the top cricket stories from a day before that you might have missed in the hustle and bustle of your busy life.

It’s cricket off-season in India, and while not much has been happening on the field, a lot is going on off the field. August 24 started with the big news of Shikhar Dhawan retiring from cricket. As the community celebrated the opener, some other stories also came in. There could be a trade between KKR and MI, through which Shreyas Iyer and Suryakumar Yadav could change teams. Yuvraj Singh might be named the new Delhi Capitals head coach for IPL 2025, and Shakib Al Hasan might be playing his last match for Bangladesh against Pakistan in Rawalpindi.

According to reports, KKR has approached SKY, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

There was also one thing in particular that both did that left their own teammates fuming.

Meet Yuvraj Singh, the new DC head coach

It’s a good week to be Yuvraj Singh. First, you get to know that a movie is being made about you, and next, you might be in line to become the new head coach of the Delhi Capitals. It was earlier believed that Yuvraj would replace his good friend Ashish Nehra as Gujrat Titans head coach, but that isn’t happening anymore, and he’ll instead take over Ricky Ponting’s role in IPL 2025.

Rohit Sharma starts prep for Bangladesh Tests

India’s Test captain, Rohit Sharma, has started to prepare for the upcoming Bangladesh Tests. The 2-match series will start on September 19 in Chennai, but having not played a red-ball game in nearly nine months, Rohit decided it’s time to get back into Test rhythm by training with new assistant coach Abhishek Nayar.
