Bangladesh won’t be hosting the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. Due to the civil unrest in the nation, several countries have put up a safety advisory for those traveling to Bangladesh, and the ICC has been forced to announce the UAE as the new host of the event. However, the Bangladesh Cricket Board will retain the hosting rights.
10 day wait for IPL retention rules
The fans and franchises will have to wait until the end of the month to know what the retention rules will look like at the IPL 2025 mega auction. The BCCI office bearers and the franchises debated about what the number of retentions should be in their recent meeting on July 31, and within 10 days we’ll get to know what the BCCI has finally decided.
