KKR and the Eden Gardens curator are once again at odds. The home team wanted a used pitch for their clash against the Lucknow Super Giants, but the curator will give them a fresh pitch. The issue started before the first match seemed to have resolved when KKR beat Sunrisers Hyderabad at home. It turns out the tiff continues.

Why MS Dhoni might retire after IPL 2025

Current PBKS head coach Ricky Ponting believes that MS Dhoni might retire after the IPL 2025 season if he fails to have any impact with the bat. Dhoni has continued to hold his own when wicketkeeping, but with the bat, he’s struggled a few times already. If he continues to fail as a batter, he might be forced to take the big call.

CSA have announced their central contracts for the 2025-26 season. The big news is that three players, Heinrich Klaasen, Anrich Nortje and Tabraiz Shamsi aren’t named. White-ball stalwart David Miller has been handed an hybrid model along with Rassie van der Dussen.
