These days, the sons of former India greats are making waves in the world of cricket. Virender Sehwag’s son Aryavir Sehwag is a batsman, while Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun is a budding all-rounder, and so is Rahul Dravid’s son Samit, who is currently playing for Karnataka in the Cooch Behar Trophy final.

As far as the match is concerned, Samit bowled 19 overs and picked up two wickets as well. While Mumbai were bundled out for 380 in the first innings, it remains to be seen, what Samit can do with the bat. Karnataka are 251/1 at the moment, with the Samit expected to bat lower down the order.

A few days back, Rahul had opened up about coaching his son. He had said, “I don’t coach my son Samit as playing the two roles (a parent and a coach) is difficult. I am happy to be a father. I also don’t know what I am doing in that role (laughs),” Dravid had said.
