After playing his last international match for England in the recently concluded Ashes series, Stuart Broad did not take a backseat for even a couple of days as he was back doing commentary duties for the ongoing Hundred competition. Dinesh Karthik, who is in the commentary panel, welcomed the former English pacer in uber-cool way. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) wicketkeeper batter took to Twitter and said, “Welcome to this side Broady. I am sure you will do great.”
Karthik looked dapper in a printed brown shirt, while Broad opted to go a bit sober look donning a blue shirt and pants. Netizens loved the two superstar’s pictures and flooded the comment sections. One of the netizens wrote, “Nice Shirt DK, while the other one welcomed Broad saying, “One job gone another one taken.” However, majority of the users loved Karthik’s uber-cool shirt and asked him about the details.

Dinesh Karthik: Karthik extends his England stint continues to slay on and off the field
Karthik has been in England for over a month. The 38-year-old was selected in the Sky panel for commentary during Ashes 2023 series. Apart from slaying on the field with his witty one-liners, Karthik is also managing to slay off the field by acing the style game.
While the likes of Ricky Ponting, Michael Atherton, and Alastair Cook kept their dressing simple, Karthik embraced vibrant colors more and looked chic in blazers casual as well as Indian wear.
With Hundred set to conclude on August 27, it remains to be seen if Karthik travels to Sri Lanka to do commentary for Asia Cup 2023 tournament.
Although the wicketkeeper batter has not announced retirement from international cricket, he is no longer in the scheme of things owing to the dismal IPL 2023 he had. Speaking about Broad, this is his first full-time commentary stint after hanging his boots. It remains to be seen if the former England pacer continues this as a full-time profession.
