Didn’t plan properly: Hardik Pandya emphasises the need to plan properly to win games in IPL 2024

SRH vs MI: Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya claims they didn't plan well vs GT, needs to play well in coming games

Hardik Pandya and Mumbai Indians are currently under fire. After losing their opening game against GT, the Mumbai outfits are desperate for a win. In the SRH vs MI clash, Hardik won the toss and opted to bowl first. He claimed that they lost the opening game as they didn’t plan properly. Now with 13 games remaining they are keen to do the right things.

Gujarat Titans defeated Mumbai Indians in their opening game by 6 wickets. It was a poor start for Hardik Pandya who is captaining the side for the first time since his transfer from GT.

“We are going to bowl first. Looks like a good track, we were solid in the last game. Didn’t plan properly, that cost us the game. 13 games to go, we need to keep doing the right things. We are positive and looking forward to the challenge. Just trying to spend time with all the players. Getting to know them better. One change, Luke misses out, Maphaka comes in,” Hardik Pandya told during the toss.

Mumbai Indians Playing XI: Ishan Kishan(w), Rohit Sharma, Naman Dhir, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya(c), Tim David, Gerald Coetzee, Shams Mulani, Piyush Chawla, Jasprit Bumrah, Kwena Maphaka
