Be it on the field or during net practice, Virat Kohli is one such batter who is never happy when he gets dismissed. One such incident took place before the IND vs BAN Tests. The ace batter gave a massive staredown to the net bowler Gurjapneet Singh. However, Kohli despite his rage was also kind enough to give some crucial advice to the bowler.
The 25-year-old pacer has been growing at a steady rate in the domestic setup. And Singh recalls a special incident that took place before the first Test against Bangladesh. With Virat Kohli batting in the nets, Gurjapneet Singh got the better of him and completely bowled him by casting the veteran batter.
Virat Kohli’s special advice to Gurjapneet Singh
“After I bowled him, I looked at him and didn’t dare to look at him again. He was very, very angry. But I realised, he was angry with himself more than anything. And after a straight drive, he again looked at me and smiled,” Gurjapneet Singh told the Indian Express.
While Gurjapneet Singh was afraid of a staredown from Virat Kohli, he went on to reveal that Kohli was however disappointed with himself. He revealed that Virat Kohli was once again back to his former self after hitting a proper straight drive.
“He told me, when there is no movement, change the angle and try bowling around the wicket. Because with that angle, even if you manage to get slight movement, it will end up troubling most batsmen,” Gurjapneet Singh concluded.
