In a lighthearted moment at a recent social event, modern-day Indian great Virat Kohli left everyone chuckling with a funny comparison between two of his Indian teammates.

Drawing from Hindi cinema nostalgia, Kohli humorously referred to the duo of Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan as ‘Sita-Gita,’ invoking the famous twin characters from Bollywood folklore.

Known for their inseparable bond, Sita and Gita were the epitome of sibling companionship and Kohli has likened the friendship of Gill and Kishan to the famous twin sisters.

During the event, Kohli’s remark brought about a wave of amusement as he jovially remarked, “Sita-Gita. Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill. I don’t know what’s the matter with them. I can’t say much about it. (laughs).” “Nothing serious about it. They are best friends. Basically they can’t be away from each other. On tours, whenever you call them for a meal, both will come together. I haven’t seen them alone.
