Flying Ravi Bishnoi shows superhuman reflexes, takes return catch in just 0.6 seconds

Bishnoi's superhuman effort changed the complexion of the match and turned the game in the Lucknow Super Giants favor.

It’s a bird; it’s a plane; no, it’s Ravi Bishnoi! The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) leg spinner is known for bamboozling batters. However, in the LSG vs GT match, the leggie decided to show his athletic ability. Off his own bowling, Bishnoi pulled off a miracle.

Ravi Bishnoi turns into Superman

In the 8th over of the second inning, the spinner deceived Kane Williamson with a googly. Going for the drive, the Kiwi managed to just get a bottom edge and spooned the ball back towards Bishnoi. Down low, the spinner threw himself at the ball and plucked the ball from the air to complete the flying catch. The ball had reached Bishnoi in just 0.60 seconds, but the spinner did not blink once and was in the air for 0.52 seconds.

How Bishnoi’s excellence changed the game

Before the leg spinner took the catch while being airborne, the Gujarat Titans were 56/1 and needed just 108 runs in 13 overs to win. Dismissing Williamson gave LSG the opening they wanted. In the next over, Krunal Pandya struck twice, and they were 61/4 in no time. Pandya returned to the bowl two more tidy overs, claiming another wicket, and ended with the figures of 4-0-11-3.
