Pakistan Cricket News: Musical chair with captains

Pakistan is once again contemplating the change of captain for the side following their T20 World Cup debacle. While many former cricketers have come out in support of Shaheen Afridi, calling his removal as captain ‘unjust’, coaches Gary Kirsten and Jason Gillespie have advised the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to not make changes to captaincy immediately.

The move to replace Shaheen with Babar as skipper drew a lot of flak, especially after Pakistan were knocked out of the T20 WC in the group stage. Their embarrassing campaign included a loss to the USA cricket team as well.
