Former RCB skipper Virat Kohli, who scored 51 from 43 deliveries vs Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday, didn’t have a great day at the office. While his team registered their only second win in the IPL 2024, Virat managed to accumulate his runs at a strike rate of only 118. This when he had started his innings in a fiery fashion.
In the powerplay, Kohli had already struck 23 from 11 deliveries, while after that he slowed down considerably. In the next 32 balls, he could only get 28 runs, which is criminal, as far as T20 matches are concerned. His innings just had four fours and a six. That means he ran 29 runs in singles and doubles.
