Dewald Brevis hammers no-look six, misses maiden IPL fifty in GT vs MI clash

GT vs MI: Dewald Brevis misses maiden IPL in GT vs MI clash, hammers stupendous no look six against Gujarat Titans

The time has come for Baby AB – Dewald Brevis to shine. The young Proteas batter stitched a strong partnership with Rohit Sharma in the GT vs MI clash. He played a stupendous knock to punish the Gujarat Titans. The highlight – A splendid no look sixer.

Dewald Brevis looked in sublime touch. He walked out to the middle after the dismissal of Naman Dhir and displayed a huge array of exquisite shots. The only disappointment? Brevis failed to get his maiden fifty. His previous highest score in IPL still remains 49.

The Baby AB, took control of the game along with the former MI skipper. He went on to punish the poor balls, hitting some majestic boundaries. Brevis’s innings steadied the ship for Mumbai Indians as they inched closer to chase the target set by GT.

Dewald Brevis went on to slam 2 fours and 3 sixes to imprint his mark in the game. Brevis was ultimately dismissed on 46 from 38 balls. Following the dismissal of Rohit Sharma, Brevis and Tilak Varma looked a tad bit uncomfortable. However, in a bid to play a big shot he played a straight shot to Mohit Sharma who took a blinding catch.
