Wickets galore for Yuzvendra Chahal in IPL
Yuzvendra Chahal has continued to prove himself in IPL 2024. The Rajasthan Royals leg-spinner has taken 13 wickets in 9 matches so far in the IPL 2024. In 80 T20I matches so far, Chahal has taken 96 wickets. However, he has struggled to get himself picked in India’s T20I team off late, with his last appearance in the format for the national team coming in August.
No place in Team India
However, in spite of the impressive outing in the IPL 2024, Chahal is unlikely to get picked for the T20 World Cup. According to a report from Indian Express, the Indian selectors are keen on taking Kuldeep Yadav, Ravi Bishnoi and Ravindra Jadeja as the three spinners in the World Cup squad. Chahal in all probability will miss the bus.
