Aiming for their first-ever IPL title, Delhi Capitals will begin their campaign against Lucknow Super Giants in Visakhapatnam on March 24 as per the IPL 2025 schedule. Like last season, DC will play their first two IPL 2025 matches in Vishakhapatnam. Delhi fans will have to wait until April 13 for their first match in the capital city when they take on Mumbai Indians.
While Delhi Capitals have not announced their captain yet, KL Rahul and Axar Patel are in the running to lead the franchise. Axar seems to be the ideal choice having been with the franchise for a long time. Despite Rishabh Pant moving to Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi have several key players, including Faf du Plessis, and Mitchell Starc in their IPL 2025 line-up.
Delhi Capitals IPL 2025 schedule
DC’s last home game will be against Gujarat Titans on May 11. They will play their last league match on May 15 in Mumbai against Mumbai Indians. Delhi Capitals will also play three afternoon matches: in Vizag on March 30, in Chennai on April 5 and in Ahmedabad on April 19.

Like last season, Delhi Capitals will play their home matches in two venues. DC will begin their campaign in Vishakhapatnam where they will play two matches. They will shift their home base to Delhi only on April 13.
