CSK pacer got married on June 1 and hosted a grand reception for the same on June 3 in Delhi. Chahar, who considers Dhoni as a mentor waited for him to grace his special day, but it was not to be. Deepak Chahar Reception: Why did MS Dhoni skip Chahar’s reception in Delhi?
- Dhoni and Sakshi had given a green signal to attend Chahar’s reception in Delhi but had to back out due to other commitments
- The CSK captain had gone to Chennai to address an event and to meet a special fan on May 31
- Although the reason could not be determined, but it seems Dhoni and Sakshi missed the event due to Dhoni going out of town
- Nonetheless, CSK star player’s absence was made by other members such as Suresh Raina, Robin Uthappa
- Rishabh Pant, Ishan Kishan, and Thakur were also seen enjoying a good time in Chahar’s grand reception
