England spinner Tom Hartley, who got his Test cap before the start of Day 1 of the IND vs ENG 1st Test, in Hyderabad, had a torrid outing with the ball on Thursday.
Despite an impressive cameo with the bat, where the youngster scored 23 runs off 24 balls, Hartley struggled with the ball as he was taken for cleaners by Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Hartley bowled 9 overs on a helpful pitch at Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium and conceded 63 runs without any success. Hartley’s length was all over the place and he lacked control with the ball.
