The match saw the clash of Team Bhuvi (Bhuvneshwar Kumar) and Team Kane (Kane Williamson) where the former emerged victorious by 41 runs at The Sevens Stadium. The wicket was a bit on a slower side and kept a little bit low also.

Given to bat first, Team Bhuvi were off to a fine start and posted a massive total even on a sluggish surface. They finished their innings with figures- 192/6 on the board courtesy of their good opening partnership between the openers- Shreevats and Virat.

As the match concluded, SRH head coach Trevor Bayliss reckoned that skipper Kane Williamson looked in good touch with good innings from him. Warner also looks in good form. Overall, things are shaping up nicely for our first match.
