DC vs MI Head-To-Head: The past record in numbers
Both Delhi Capitals (previously Delhi Daredevils) and Mumbai Indians are participating in the league since the first season. Mumbai is the most successful IPL team winning five titles where as Delhi is yet to win their maiden IPL title. The two teams have played a total of 32 matches against each other in IPL.
Mumbai have won 17 of those 32 matches, while DC have 15 wins to their name. The first match between MI and DC was played during IPL 2008 where DC defeated MI by five wickets. Uptill 2018, both the teams were neck and neck winning 11 matches each. However, MI won six out of 10 matches against DC between 2019 to 2022.
The last match between the two teams was played during IPL 2022, where Rohit Sharma led MI defeated Rishabh Pant‘s DC by 5 wickets. Star MI pacer Jasprit Bumrah was awarded the man of the match after dismissing three of the DC batters for 25 runs. The forthcoming match between the two teams will be an opportunity for both to find a rhythm in the early stages of the tournament.
