Limping Pant’s Heroics in Vain!

The Delhi Capitals couldn’t put up a fight, except for their skipper Rishabh Pant. Despite limping, Rishabh Pant went on to hammer a blistering 25-ball, 55-run knock to keep DC in the contest. This was Rishabh’s 17th IPL fifty, coupled with his maiden fifty against KKR. Though he was rusty at the start of the tournament, Pant roared back to form with consecutive fifties.

Extra-ordi Narine!

Be it with the bat or with the ball, Sunil Narine has been a class apart in the DC vs KKR clash. Sunil Narine has been exceptional for the Kolkata outfits. Coming to bowling, he went on to bag a solitary wicket of Sumit Kumar. He bowled 4 overs when he gave away just 29 runs.

Who won yesterday’s IPL match?

There had to be only one contender to bag the Man of the Match Award. Sunil Narine bagged the award and is now tied with Andre Russell with 17 MOM awards in IPL history. His all-round abilities with bat and ball was enough to earn him the award. AB de Villiers tops the charts with 23 MOM awards under his belt.
