Delhi Capitals handed out IPL debuts to two cricketers – Jhye Richardson and Kumar Kushagra – as they lock horns with Mumbai Indians. DC won the toss and opted to bowl first at the Wankhede stadium. While MI will be eyeing to open their account in IPL 2024 with a win, DC will hope to bounce back from the loss the previous game.
Jhye Richardson is playing in place of an injured Mitchell Marsh. Another question that arises with the inclusion of Abhishek Porel in the XI is if Rishabh Pant would be keeping wickets in the game. The side also has another wicketkeeper as back-up in the form of Kumar Kushagra, who is named as an impact sub for the game.
