DC Playing XI vs KKR: Rishabh Pant and co. makes 1 change, injured Mukesh Kumar out, Sumit Kumar in

DC vs KKR: Delhi Capitals makes one change as Mukesh Kumar has endured a niggle, meanwhile, Sumit Kumar replaces him.

Delhi Capitals (DC) are currently (April 3) batting the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Match 16 of the ongoing IPL 2024 at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Vizag.

KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to bat first. Rishabh Pant, DC captain, meanwhile also apprised that he would’ve liked to bat first as well. However, the Capitals now need to hunt down the total in the second innings.

Regarding the lineups, Delhi made a solitary change as Pant informed that Indian pacer Mukesh Kumar is injured and is replaced by Sumit Kumar, a Haryana-born all-rounder. “We just need to keep doing the right things—one change: Mukesh is injured and he’s replaced by Sumit,”  said Pant at the toss.

Kuldeep Yadav still out for DC

Star left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav is still out of DC’s playing XI. The chinaman bowler missed out the previous game against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) due to a niggle. He is still out and won’t be taking part against his former franchise Kolkata Knight Riders as well.
