DC beat SRH Highlights: Chasing 208 to win, Sunrisers Hyderabad got off to the worst possible start after Abhishek Sharma departed early. Williamson and Rahul Tripathi soon followed as SRH were reeling at 37/3 after seven overs. Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran steadied the ship with a fine counter-attack before Khaleel Ahmed struck for the second time to dismiss Markram.
Pooran continued to keep SRH in the hunt with his fine half-century. Sunrisers needed 55 from the last 18 balls when Pooran launched Thakur twice into the stands, before holding out in the deep. Kartik Tyagi and Shreyas Gopal hit some boundaries in the final two overs, but Delhi eventually clinched a 21-run win on Thursday.

DC beat SRH Highlights: David Warner’s unbeaten 92 andar Rovman Powell’s stellar 67 saw Delhi Capitals post a mammoth 207 on the board in their first innings. The duo put on a stunning 122 run stand in just 66 balls to put SRH under the pump.
Delhi Capitals got off to the worst possible start to their innings with Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowling a wicket maiden as Mandeep Singh departed for a duck. Warner motored along as his took the attack to his former team. Marsh who walked in at No.3, did not do much and was out for 10.
Rishabh Pant played a breezy cameo to get the run rate up and going in an eventful over from Shreyas, which eventually led to his dismissal. Powell joined Warner and the duo knocked the ball around before unleashing their brute force in the final overs. Warner reached his 89th half-century in T20s, breaking Chris Gayle’s record, while Powell took toll in the latter overs to reach his own half-century. The West Indian took on Umran Malik in the final over, who bowled the fastest ball of IPL 2022, to take DC past 200. Warner meanwhile remained unbeaten on 92, cheering on Powell from the non striker’s end as DC plundered 19 in the laast over.
