David Warner jokes about getting rid of DRS, Know what he would do as umpire

From his dream opening partner to what comes to his mind when he thinks of India, ILT20's latest addition David Warner answers it all

Explosive Australia opener David Warner is all set to be a part of the ILT20 as he will lead the Dubai Capitals in the upcoming edition of the tournament. The southpaw was the latest addition to the Capitals’ squad for the tourney that will commence from January 19. Ahead of the 2nd edition of ILT20, Warner was engaged in a fun rapid fire Q&A session with the team and here’s what he spilled the beans on.

Warner jokes about getting rid of DRS, umpires

In a video shared by the Capitals on their Instagram page, Warner was seen answering a variety of questions, ranging from his favourite shot to what he would do as an umpire. The fiery southpaw revealed that the cover drive was a shot he could play at the middle of the night.

Asked when what cricket rule he would make if he had a chance to, Warner joked that he would get rid of the Decision Review System (DRS). On being asked what he would do if he was an umpire, the Australian said that he would reverse all the out and not out decisions.

The Aussie further named Adam Gilchrist as the opener he would dream to bat with. Burger was a cheat meal he could never drop, Warner revealed.
