Fiery Australian opener David Warner achieved an incredible feat during the 2nd PAK vs AUS Test at the MCG, etching his name in the history of the country’s cricket yet again. The southpaw became Australia’s second highest run-scorer, with only the legendary Ricky Ponting ahead of him. The opener had a decent start in the 2nd Test and built a strong partnership with Khawaja before he was dismissed right before lunch.

In 460 international games, Warner has accumulated 18,502 runs at an stupendous average of 42.63. Only former Aussie skipper Ponting is ahead of the southpaw, with 27,368 runs to his name from 667 innings. Other legends on the list include Steve Waugh, Allan Border, Michael Clarke.
