“Any cricketer knows how special their cap is, and I will cherish this for the rest of my life,” David Warner shared in the video, highlighting the sentimental value attached to the baggy green.

A Cricket Australia spokesperson revealed that the bag, along with its contents, was found at the team hotel. When David Warner first reported the loss, he assured that anyone who might have taken the backpack would not face consequences if it was returned promptly. The recovery of his baggy green comes as a huge relief to David Warner and Cricket Australia, with the CEO, Nick Hockley, expressing gratitude to all involved in the search efforts.

“It’s a huge relief David’s cap has been located, and a big thank you to everyone who was involved in the search. We really appreciate it,” Hockley stated.
