The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have announced Dan Lawrence as Harry Brook’s replacement for the upcoming IND vs ENG Test series, starting on January 25.
Earlier, ECB announced that Harry Brook will return to UK due to personal reasons.
The ECB statement also asked for the media and public to respect the Brook family’s request for privacy at this time.
While initially, it was mentioned that Brook would not return to India and will miss the entire series, the ECB later removed from the statement from website.

This suggests that the young batter is likely to join the England squad at later stages of the series.
