While there were doubts as to how MS Dhoni the wicket-keeper fare in the IPL 2024, he dispelled all such doubts in the CSK vs RCB match on Friday, in Chennai at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. Dhoni, 42, who had undergone a knee surgery after the IPL 2023, looks fit as a horse and visibly faced no trouble behind the stumps.
In fact, Dhoni effected a brilliant run-out of RCB batsman Anuj Rawat, when the latter tried to steal a cheeky run along with his batting partner Dinesh Karthik, towards the end of the innings. With this run out, Dhoni extended his record of the keeper with most run-outs in the IPL — 24.
