Chennai Super Kings legend MS Dhoni continues to be the main man on the field as the former captain pulled off a brilliant piece of fielding in the game against the Punjab Kings. CSK, who are struggling having lost both their opening games turned to MS Dhoni for inspiration and the veteran keeper obliged with some fine work behind the stumps.

Bhanuka Rajapaksa played one off Chris Jordan towards the leg side and looked to steal a quick single but Dhoni’s presence of mind saw the Sri Lankan well short of his crease. Jordan collected the ball and threw it straight at the keeper, who was already sprinting toward the stumps, and collected the ball before putting in a dive to break the stumps. Watch the video here:

Incidentally, MS Dhoni broke yet another milestone when the former CSK captain took the field on Sunday. Mahendra Singh Dhoni becomes the second Indian cricketer after Rohit Sharma to play 350 T20 matches in the Chennai Super Kings versus Punjab Kings match being played here at Brabourne Stadium on Sunday.

Rohit Sharma leads the way with 372 T20 matches while MS Dhoni’s former India and CSK teammate Suresh Raina has played 336 T20 matches. Out of the 350 T20 matches MS Dhoni has represented India in 98 T20 Internationals while he has played 222 T20 matches in the Indian Premier League for Chennai Super Kings and Rising Pune Supergiants. In Dhoni’s 350th T20 match CSK will look to register their first win of the season after facing two consecutive defeats against Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants.
