CSK vs KKR Final: Venkatesh Iyer’s SUPER-SHOW continues- Kolkata Knight Riders batsman Venkatesh Iyer on Friday continued his stellar show in IPL 2021. He delivered for KKR in the final by smashing 31-ball fifty comprising 5 boundaries and 3 sixes. The left-handed batsman survived multiple drop catches from MS Dhoni and he made full use of the opportunity. His super show helped KKR share 91 runs for the opening stand with Shubman Gill.

  • Venkatesh Iyer played at a strike rate of 150+ in the IPL 2021 Final.
  • Touted as the find of IPL 2021, Iyer slammed 370 runs in IPL 2021. He struck 4 fifties in his maiden IPL season.
  • He batted at an average of 40+ at a decent strike rate of 128 in the IPL season. His presence at KKR for Phase 2 saw KKR entering finals from 7th place in Points Table.
  • Owing to his ability to bowl, Iyer got a place in India’s T20 World Cup squad as net bowler. He took 3 wickets in the IPL season.
