This time around, both teams have strengthened their line-ups in the IPL 2024 mini auction and will look to get the better of each other. Shubman Gill vs Deepak Chahar

Shubman Gill will look to play a long innings in the second match after getting a start in the first match. Gill, who won the Orange Cap last year, will look repeat last year’s form again. Deepak Chahar on the other hand, who has a reputation for swinging the new ball well, will try to establish himself right away. In nine IPL matches, Chahar has dismissed Gill three times while giving up 71 runs off of 52 balls.

Shivam Dube vs Rashid Khan

Shivam Dube is known in the domestic circuit for being one of the best batters against spin. Dube established himself in IPL 2023 by finishing games off with his ability to hit big sixes, specially against spinners. Rashid Khan has been one of the most consistent players of IPL, picking up wickets at regular intervals. However, Rashid Khan has not been able to get Dube out in previous IPL outings. Dube faced 15 balls of Rashid in IPL so far, scoring 21 runs.

Rachin Ravindra vs Umesh Yadav

Umesh Yadav was brilliant in the first match against Mumbai Indians, bowling the last over under pressure to hand Gujarat Titans the win. Rachin Ravindra was on fire with the bat for CSK, playing some magnificent shots enroute to 15-ball 37. It will be an interesting battle between the two, with Umesh Yadav’s change of pace likely to come in handy against an aggressive Ravindra.
