MS Dhoni has entered his retro era. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper has decided to roll back the years and revert to his stylish long-hair look. The 42-year-old has rocked many hairstyles in his 20-year career, including going bald the day after winning the 2011 ODI World Cup.
Just 11 days before the start of the IPL 2024, Dhoni has been seen rocking a bandana and styling his hair back to the days when he started playing for India.
For those who don’t remember, MS Dhoni used to rock long hair when he made his debut in 2004. The look became iconic soon after he scored 183 against Sri Lanka in 2005 and raked up runs on India’s tour of Pakistan in 2005/06. Even Pakistan’s Prime Minister was impressed by Dhoni’s look and advised him not to cut his hair.
However, over the years, the wicketkeeper batter has shed it. Instead, he has been going for short-hair looks and even styled a mohawk in 2019.
