CSK Playing XI vs RCB – CSK vs RCB: The excitement for the impending Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Chennai Super Kings encounter in IPL 2023 is at an all-time high. Cricket fans are pumped for another classic clash between Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The eagerly anticipated South Indian Derby is slated to take place on Monday, April 17, with a 7:30 PM start time. For CSK, a big headache will be the availability of skipper MSD. With Sisanda Magala out with injury, Matheesha Pathirana and Dwaine Pretorius will fight for spot in CSK Playing 11.

Big talking point for CSK ahead of their RCB clash is their ‘limping’ skipper MS Dhoni.

The head coach of Chennai Super Kings, Stephen Fleming, stated that MS Dhoni was dealing with a knee issue in his post-match press conference after the Yellow Army fell to Rajasthan Royals by 3 runs despite Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja’s late heroics that extended the game to the final ball.

Fans were able to view Dhoni’s injury up close when CSK posted a video of ‘Thala’ walking after the match against Rajasthan Royals.

Despite being injured, the 41-year-old scored 32 runs in just 17 balls, including two sixes in the penultimate over against Sandeep Sharma, despite being injured.

Fleming had also confirmed the injuries to Dhoni and Sisanda Magala. This is a setback for 4-time champions as Deepak Chahar and Ben Stokes are also dealing with injuries of their own, and Kyle Jamieson and Mukesh Choudhary have already been ruled out of the IPL 2023 season.
