Defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have kick started their IPL 2024 campaign on a victorious note. The side picked up a win against RCB in their first game of the tournament. The BCCI has announced the full schedule for IPL 2024.
A total of 74 matches will be played across 12 venues. IPL 17 will begin on March 22 with the final on May 26.

CSK beat Gujarat Titans in the final of IPL 2023 to lift the trophy for the 5th time. They equalled their arch-rivals Mumbai Indians’ record by doing so. They finished 2nd on the points table, with 17 points to their name from eight victories.
