WTC Standings 2023-25: England equal Australia with final Ashes Test win, Pakistan on top

Pakistan lead the World Test Championship Standings after India played out a draw against West Indies in the 2nd Test.

WTC Standings 2023-25: Australia have retained the third spot despite losing the 5th Ashes 2023 Test against England. With 54.17 percentage points, Australia are third. The win helped England gain valuable PCT and level with Australia. Pakistan moved clear at the top with an innings and 222-run win over Sri Lanka in the 2nd Test. With 100% percentage points, Pakistan are leading India who are 2nd with 66.67 PCT. West Indies are fifth with 16.67%.

IND vs WI: In the two-match Test series, India won the first game while the second game ended in a draw. Despite the draw in the second game, the Asian side will be happy to start the fresh WTC cycle on a winning note. India will take on South Africa in their next series in December-January away.

ENG vs AUS Ashes: In a dramatic turn of events, Australia collapsed in the chase of 384. From 264/4, Australia were bowled out for 334. Stuart Broad, who is hanging up his boots, delivered the final wicket to avert an Australia series win. However, Australia retain Ashes 2-2. After Ashes, Australia face Pakistan at home in December-January.

SL vs PAK: Abdullah Shafique’s heroics helped Pakistan thrash Sri Lanka by an innings and 222 runs to seal the series 2-0. Pakistan who finished 7th in the WTC Standings last season are now top of the WTC Standings with 100 PCT. After Sri Lanka, Pakistan’s big test will be in Australia in December-January.
