Ganguly had to step away from commentary role after assuming BCCI presidency in 2019. Now that he has stepped aside, he has already returned to the role of Delhi Capitals Director of Cricket.

Apart from Ganguly, Star Sports has Harbhajan Singh, S Sreesanth and Deep Dasgupta on comms in Hindi.

In English, Ravi Shastri will accompany Harsha Bhogle, Dinesh Karthik, Ricky Ponting, Matthew Hayden besides Justin Langer.

The last time Sourav Ganguly was spotted in the commentary box was in the ICC World Cup 2019. However after the tournament, he had to give away his commentary duties. The former India team skipper was then elected as the President of the BCCI. But now, after having stepped down from the role, Ganguly is now free to resume his commentary stints.

India is all set to take on Australia in the all important WTC Finals from 7th June at the Oval.

Following an exciting IPL season the focus now shifts to the Team India donning white for the ‘Ultimate Test’ as they lock horns with Australia at the WTC Final at The Oval, 7th – 11th June, LIVE and Exclusive on the Star Sports Network and Disney+ Hotstar. In the commentary box will be renowned legends Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar, Matthew Hayden and Nasser Hussain for the English feed/ World feed along with Harbhajan Singh, Saurav Ganguly, Deep Dasgupta and S. Sreesanth for the Hindi feed.

This stellar team of commentators will elevate the viewing experience, adding depth and excitement to the World Test Championship Final.
