The young Windies pacer, who took a painful blow on his right toe from Mitchell Starc’s fiery yorker, single-handedly took the visitors to a miraculous win.

It is West Indies’ first win over Australia in Australia since 1997. They have also become the first team ever to defeat the hosts in a Pink-ball Test match.

The cricket fans were in disbelief after West Indies’ inspiring comeback and lauded the young pace sensation for a heroic performance.

Shamar Joseph was brought into the attack with Australia cruising at 93 for 2 but his 10-over spell just turned the game on its head. The pacer picked up 6 wickets in his 10 over spell and pushed the hosts to 184/8.
