Cricket West Indies presented a plaque to Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma to commemorate IND vs WI 100th Test match. CWI President Dr Kishore Shallow and West Indies legend Brian Lara presented Rohit with a silver plaque before the start of first session.

The BCCI posted the photo on social media and captioned it, “Captain Rohit Sharma is presented with a plaque to commemorate the 100th Test between India and West Indies.”
The players of both teams then posed for a group photo ahead of the historic Test match.
IND vs WI H2H in Tests – A tale of 2 contrasting eras
India and West Indies cricket rivalry has two contrasting eras. While the first era was dominated by the Men in Maroon, the other saw India rose as a cricketing superpower while WI lost the glory and prestige they enjoyed in the 70s and 80s. In all, they have played 99 Tests, including the first Test in Dominica last week. Out of these, India has won 23 Tests, WI has won 30.
Rohit, Jaiswal take India past 100
India’s opening duo, Rohit Sharma and Yashaswi Jaiswal stitched their 2nd century partnership to cruise India past 100 in the first session. Indian skipper slammed a brilliant half-century, while Jaiswal provided perfect support after the visitors were asked to bat first.
