Warner travelled to Telangana with teammates before his scheduled reunion with Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 24. While there, he played golf as fans compared his swing to his cricketing swing. The Australian batter is behind Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Faf du Plessis in the race for IPL 2023 Orange Cap.
Warner, a left-handed opener who has four fifty-plus scores in six innings for Delhi Capitals, has had his strike rate criticised by several former cricketers; yet, in just 41 balls, he hit 57 runs to help DC win their first match of the IPL 2023 season against the Kolkata Knight Riders by four wickets on Thursday.
Delhi Capitals, who are currently last in the IPL 2023 Points Table, will try to beat SRH on Monday, who fell to Chennai Super Kings on Friday, to extend their winning run after picking up their first points against KKR.
