Cricket on canvas: Famous painter Andy Brown marks his presence during IND vs ENG 1st Test

Famous British painter Andy Brown marked his presence in the ongoing IND vs ENG 1st Test being played in Hyderabad.
Andy Brown said that he visited India about 12 years ago and he is glad to comeback in the Asian country.

Prominent Artist Andy Brown marked his presence in the ongoing IND vs ENG 1st Test. The British artist sat near the boundary ropes as he also drew a painting of the iconic Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Andy Brown also met with some of the Indian players including the likes of Kuldeep Yadav and Rajat Patidar.

In a conversation, Andy Brown said that he visited India about 12 years ago and he is glad to make a comeback in the Asian country. “It is my first-time painting and seeing cricket in India. I was in India maybe around 12 years ago. I always wanted to return, and I am glad that I did. You see the Indian fans and I wanted to experience that emotion and drama,” said Andy Brown in a conversation with BCCI.

I have been painting sports all around the world. To me it is all about capturing the culture of the country. I want to capture the sound, the noise, the flags, the mad fans. I want to capture it all,” he added.

Speaking about the IND vs ENG 1st Test, Rohit Sharma and Co. are in a dominating position after gaining a decent lead in the first innings. The home team will look to wrap things around during the IND vs ENG 1st Test Day 3. At stumps on Day 2, team India is leading by 175 runs in the first innings and they still have three wickets in their bank.
