“Main trophy jeetke ek saal aur khelunga (After winning the trophy, I will play one more year),” Raina said. The CSK captain’s participation in a subsequent IPL season is all but assured by his statements to Raina.
Raina travelled to Chennai to cover the match between CSK and Mumbai Indians during the league stage. The former CSK vice-captain currently works as a cricket analyst full-time and provides analysis for the T20 tournament He was not purchased in the IPL 2022 mega-auction, and he eventually left Indian cricket to play in other competitions.
