IPL 2023: Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta shared horrifying incidents that happened to her and her daughter Gia ahead of the Punjab Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad Indian Premier League 2023 clash on Sunday. The actress posted on Titter and Instagram about the harassment she had to face, including how a beggar who was in a wheelchair tormented her and nearly followed her car to chase her. And how an old woman began taking images of her daughter Gia without her consent and even placed a kiss close to her daughter’s mouth. Bollywood stars lincluding Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, and Malaika Arora have showed their support for Preity, in addition to her fans who have been vocal in doing so. Actress Priyanka Chopra commented an emoji of a person clapping their hands together and a face with an open mouth. Actor Hrithik Roshan, who has a close relationship with the actress, praised her for what she did by commenting, “Well done, Pree,” and posting a heart emoji. Malaika Arora wrote, “You said it loud and clear” (person raising both hands in celebration emoji). Actor Arjun Rampal commented, “Next time give me a call who will sort them out.” with a red heart emoji.
Twins Gia and Jai are Preity’s children, and she made it very plain to her admirers that they were not to approach them. She even urged photographers to use greater restraint and speak out against such offensive behaviour rather than just documenting everything. Preity Zinta moved to the USA after she wed Gene Goodenough, but she continues to visit India to see her loved ones and to cheer for her team, the Punjab Kings, in the IPL.
