IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals star Rishabh Pant was present at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi while watching his side, the play Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League 2023. Jay Shah, the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), was spotted seated in the stands alongside Pant. The 25-year-old later took a break and visited the Titans’ dressing room to meet with their players. In addition, Shumban Gill snapped a photo with his Indian colleague. Pant is not part of the DC team as he is still recovering from the multiple injuries he received in the horrific car accident he was involved in on the Delhi-Dehradun motorway. However, Capitals head coach Ricky Ponting has mentioned the possibility of including Pant in some capacity in the team’s system. The first home game for DC took place on Tuesday, April 4, and the left-handed Pant wasn’t able to skip it.

DC struggling without Rishabh Pant
The Capitals have been struggling in the ongoing IPL. David Warner’s team has a net run average of -1.703 and is eighth in the standings after losing both of their games. In their last game, they were defeated by the Titans by six wickets. After being asked to bat first, DC made a respectable 162 runs for the loss of eight wickets.
Each Mohammed Shami and Rashid Khan took three wickets. With two wickets, Alzarri Joseph also blew fire. Sai Sudharsan maintained his unbeaten status by scoring 62 off 48 with four fours and two sixes, helping the Titans reach their goal with 11 deliveries remaining.
