1. No scans has been done till now as needs to wait 48 hours for swelling to lessen.
2. He will leave for Mumbai on Thursday where his scans and further tests will be done under @BCCI aegis
3. As of now, it’s unlikely he will play in @IPL.#IPL #Rahul
KL Rahul suffered a hamstring injury while trying to stop a boundary against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Monday. He was helped out of the field by LSG physios and severe pain was clearly visible on his face.
While he did come and bat at No 11 for LSG, he was clearly not in a state to run for singles. But with WTC Final just a month away, BCCI has taken over the case. While Rahul is still in Lucknow with the team, he will not be playing any more games for the team this IPL. Instead, KL Rahul will report to the NCA this week as per a Cricbuzz report.
As Rahul awaits scan reports, he will remain in Lucknow before leaving for home in Bengaluru. In the meantime, he will be under LSG medical team’s observation and is in complete rest.
