Sanju Samson after recovering from his injury and finishing his camp at the NCA went to Jodhpur where he joined the Rajasthan Royals camp. In a video posted on social media, the RR skipper can be seen taking to the crease and going on to hit some towering sixes.
With the tides of fortune not turning in favour of the Kerala batter, Sanju Samson has now turned his aim and focus to the upcoming Indian Premier League campaign. The Season 1 winner reached the finals last year but lost to Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Giants.
Sanju’s snub from the Indian team after the injury of Shreyas Iyer has led to multiple questions. But it can be well understood that the Indian team management is in no rush to play Samson who recently recovered from an injury. The team has learned very well what a hushed return can cause to a player as has been evident in the case of Jasprit Bumrah and Deepak Chahar.
