Washington Sundar Over: Washington Sundar, the all-rounder for Sunrisers Hyderabad, has made headlines in the ongoing match against Delhi Capitals by picking three wickets in a single over.  Sundar picked up three crucial wickets, dismissing David Warner, Sarfaraz Khan, and Abhishek Sharma. The first wicket that Sundar took was of David Warner, who is known for his aggressive batting. Sundar’s poor delivery, sliding down the leg, was swept by Warner, but he failed to keep it down. Harry Brook, fielding at deep backward square leg, took a smart catch, sending Warner back to the pavilion. This was also the first wicket for Sundar in this season.

Next, Sundar dismissed Sarfaraz Khan, who attempted to sweep a ball on but top-edged it. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, fielding at deep backward square leg, made no mistake in taking a simple catch, sending Sarfaraz Khan back to the dugout.

Sundar’s final wicket in the over was that of Aman Hakim Khan, who tried to slog across the line but failed to connect well. The overspinner from Sundar slid across and sliced off a thick outside-edge, which was an easy catch for cover.

So far in six games this season, Sundar has only managed to take three wickets – all of which were captured during this match. Although Sundar’s batting performance has been below average, scoring only 36 runs at an average of 9.00 and a strike rate of 80.00, he has been impressive with his bowling figures. In the high-scoring IPL games, he has maintained a remarkable economy rate of only 8.26 runs per over.
