IPL 2023: On Tuesday, April 4, the Royal Challengers Bangalore shared a new RCB Insider video on their official social media handle. In the video, former RCB captain Virat Kohli appeared in a whole new avatar. Kohli sat down with comedian Danish Sait’s Mr. Nags character and explored poetry. Virat Kohli wrote, “Fulfill your desire, ignite the fire. Bat through the tough times, sometimes its 263 sometimes 49. Life can put you in a pickle, laugh through like its a tickle. Whether you get a hundred or a duck, life goes on don’t get stuck. There is no map ride the tide, you are your own guide.”

In the video, Kohli opened up about being under a lot of stress in the last few seasons. He said that he didn’t even enjoy the beauty of the hotel he was staying in. Kohli admitted that there were many challenges to playing for a franchise with such a large fan base, where people expect him to perform on a daily basis.

Kohli began his IPL 2023 campaign with a thrilling 82* against Mumbai Indians at the Chinnaswamu Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday, 2 April. Kohli and RCB have travelled to Kolkata for their next match and will take on KKR on 6 April.
